night fighter identity
 
Hello

I have two questions:

in my archives I have an Ofw KORNASCHER of 1./NG 1 with a day claim the 15.8.41 and an Ofw KORNACKER of the 9./NG 3 with a night claim the 21/22 2/42.

is'it the same "guy" and wich real name is'it? can anyone provide détails.

and who was oblt Hans von Hagenow of the 7./NG 1? (claims? death?....)

HAGENOW , Hans von. (DOB: 23.01.15). 09-10.41 Oblt., 7./NJG 1. 29.07.42 Oblt., in 7./NJG 1.
10.43 with 2./NJG 100.
25.05.42 Oblt., injured in a flying accident while serving with a
Küstenfliegergruppe.
(n.d.) in III./NJG 1 then trf to NJG 5. 13.03.43 Oblt., 11./NJG 5 WIA - Bf 110
E-1 crashed vic Reng-Königswalde as a result of an engine fire. 12.10.43 Oblt., with 2./NJG 100.
01.01.44 promo to Hptm. 12.10.43 Oblt., 2./NJG 100. 10.44 Hptm. and Staka 5./NJG 100. Credited with 2 victories. Survived the war

EK 2, Night Fighter Operational Clasp
One known victory, a Hudson on 21 February, 1942, a FW at the time. A 2nd, a Halifax of RAF No.405 Sq. near Hirson France, now a Oblt. His R/O-Gunner was named Hof. Deceased 16 May, 1984.

Hagenow, Hans von Hptm
7/NJG-1 (7/42), 11/NJG-5 (3/43), 2/NJG-100 (10/43 S.U.
Bf 110E-1 Werk # 3836 (dam 3/13/43), Ju 88C-6
EK 1 & 2, Wound Badge, Night Fighter Operational Clasp
Injured in a crash in the Reng-Königswalde area on 13 March, 1943 due to an engine fire, no mention of crew injuries (Bf 110 Loss List). His first known victory, a Stirling I of RAF No 1651 (CU) at Heelsum (Gelderland), 12 km W of Arnhem the night of 28-29 July, 1942. A 2nd, a Soviet DB-3 at Kirovograd on the night of 12-13 October, 1943

I have only a day claim the 15.8.41 ( Blenheim IV (MK-Y) 500° Sq CC "Z6036")
