Me 262 of 1.(F)/100
Gentlemen,
According to the loss-list for "A01 Fernaufklaerung units" at http://www.rafandluftwaffe.info/loss-register/ on 4 May 1945, while Oblt. Benz in Me 262 V11 W.Nr. 110555 and Ofw. Nitschke in Ar 234 B W.Nr. 140146? T9+NL (both aircraft commandeered by 1.(F)/100 at Munchen-Riem) were transferring from Horsching-Linz to Prag-Rusin, Ofw. Emil Schneider of "1.(F)/100" (ex. NAG 6 and/or 13?) was flying his Me 262 from Linz between 10:00 and 10:34 to land in a field near Worms-Leiselheim where he surrendered. My question: was an intact Me 262 found by the Allies in the Worms-Leiselheim area? best regards, Jim Geens |
