The thirteenth picture in this sequence shows a German grave of a British pilot porported to be in the "Egyptian desert". Does anyone recognize this photograph? Who, and where? The caption "A German soldier in WWII buries an unknown English soldier that was killed in air combat in the Egyptian desert." comes from Detonate http://detonate.com/shocking-historical-photos/35/ |

Thanks, guys. Hi Brian, yes, I've been skulking in the background! The date set me off. Same day that George Goodman went down.
