P-39 Airacobra in Soviet service 1942
 

Hi guys

I'm seeking the date (? May 1942) and confirmation of the unit, believed to have been 19-GuIP (formerly 145-IAP) as the first to receive the P-39 in the Soviet Far North theatre of operations.

By what means did the first P-39s arrive in Russia, and when?

Is there a website dedicated to the Soviet P-39s?
