All Ju 87 in the range 4901xx to 4942xx were build at WFG Lemwerder from April to July 1944 in the G-2 version, they were no conversions.

Explain & define. G-2 was subtype. D- was production version.

Adding: G-2 is listed in Umbau from WFG Ju 87 D-3 (Lieferplan 225 / Umbau Jan-to April 44), but listed as D in main production plans (LP-225-227)
but I do not have full set or all versions of them plans for WFG.

Re: JU 87 G

G-2s were both direct produced and converted from D-3, see http://www.luftwaffe.no/SIG/RLM/RLMMar44.html
German Wiki claims 208 direct-built G-2 from 12/43 to 7/44 (end of Lemwerder production) based on RLM docs in Bundesarchive

Re: JU 87 G

Yes, in SIG you probably see there
"Production Ju 87 G-2" Planned 40, actual 0 (null),
but conversions planned 0 but actual 40
3 delivered (22 actual, but missing 18 = 40)

Oh, well, as I see them LP224 figures (actual source doc for production 09.1943 to end of 09.1945) here in front of me - Ju 87 G-2 conversions were curiosly equal to "production drop" of D-5 at "WFGB" (Weser Bremen) so "production" Ju 87 G-2 planned for in early 1944 (Jan-Apr in Umbau) are same (equal) at "WFGB". Interestingly many in Umbau are listed still without weapons (Flak 18)

Source: LP224 1.10.43
*D-3 ended 12.43, became D-5 in early 1944 plan.
