Novembre 06 1944 9 & 12 AF losses
Dear searchers,
I'm looking for any informations about lost planes from 9 and 12 AF over east of France for the following date : november 06 1944. This includes losses due to combat and accidents. Any help welcome. Stéphane |

9 AF lost four fighters this date, I do not know about bomber losses. 36 FG lost a P-47 northwest of Julich. 366 FG lost a P-47 near Buschbell, and 474 FG lost two P-38's south of Duren. I don't know if these are in your area of interest or not. If so, let me know and I will supply names and a/c details.

From Craig Fuller's AAIR website at aviationarcheology.com If you are seeking fighters 9AF P38 474FG 42-67941 - MACR 10274. 42-67676 - P47 36FG 42-26009 - MACR 10281. 366FG 42-27169 - MACR 10267. 422NFS P61A 42-5567 - Belgium. 31ATG P47 42-29244 - France. Two each C47's and UC78 in France,one UC78 in Holland. 12AF Three P47's all listed as Italy. 27th, 79th and 350th FG's. 42-27276 42-25315 42-26763 Other 9AF P47's in accidents were take off accidents in Belgium.
