Has anyone got a claim for a He 111 over the Med on this date?

Hi Chris

I note that Flg Off Michael Kinmonth of 89 Squadron (Beaufighter V8439) claimed a He111 in the Tripoli area on the night of 11/12 March. Hope this helps.

Thanks Brian-looks likely. I have just been asked to help MOD with a query from a crewman from a He 111 of KG 100 lost this night who was shot down, taken POW and visited by the RAF pilot responsible when he was in hospital. He wants to get back in touch-sadly Kinmonth was killed in an accident not far from you 11 Nov 43
