US Pilots murder investigation

http://forum.armyairforces.com/threa...918/#post-6306

Hello,
See the above thread from BMBazooka and Swank .
Does anyone have details of the "murder" of two airmen in Germany(?) by the SS man named ?
Further, does anyone have info of the "murder" of two US pilots as investigated by a Canadian team ?
I amnot sure if the two stories are of one event.
Alex

You may let Google Translate go thru this article in the German press: http://www.merkur.de/lokales/muenche...e-5254519.html

In it it says the NSDAP-Ortsgruppenführer was arrested by the US military on 1 May 1945, with fatal results for the man.

Regards,

Leendert

Story here involves the James M. Greene murder in Pullach.

You can try perusing the Jewish Virtual Library 'The Dachau Trials' Prisoner-of_War Cases. There are listed by the name of the persons charged. Some cases are about murdering airman ( usually stated as attempting to escape ) and other cases about assault. In some of the transcripts the name and serial of the deceased or wounded is noted. There is no date, nor name index. Some of the scanned documents are difficult to read. But it is a detailed summary of the events, including charges and sentences.
