Loss JU 88 4 KG6?
 
Bonjour

try to identify a JU 88 grave in france on the commune of Montigny the Chartif to the west of Chartres. A member of the crew certainly pilots it was buried in place by German soldiers. Raised in 1959 the one here was not identified it is buried to the cemetery of Champigny-St one. Andre / Frankreich, Block: 17, Grab: 2456. A Ju-88 HAS-4 of the 4 ./ KG 6 pilot by the uffz Heduschka Karl was lost in the region of Chartres in the night of the 7 to the 8 aout 1944 est'ce the one there? If someone can help me!

Heduschka and his crew were taken POW when shot down by a night fighter west of Le Mans at 0030 hrs. Without an accurate date of death of this airman you write about, your task is impossible

The little info that I have, is that the incomplete skeleton found on 02.12.59 was of a guy of around 30, no other graves were found at this location, and he was said to have been a pilot killed while trying to make an emergency landing, this info is from the VDK.
