F/L Ronald Martin 210 Sqn
Just profiling Dennis Healy's aircrew:
Whilst I've researched about Martin's pre-war career, CAGM trainee pilot etc., and his time with Healy and going onto captain his own Catalina on 210 could anyone confirm he survived the war ? If he did then it's highly probable that he is the Ronald Martin who I have found that died in December 1998 aged 80. Andy Bird |

Yes he survived the war. In the book "Arctic Airmen: The RAF in Spitsbergen and North Russia, 1942" by Roy Conyers and Ernest Schofield, there is this.
"In January, 1987, forty-five years later, Ernest Schofield, Ronald Martin (the second pilot) and I attended the opening in northern Norway of the Norwegian Defense Museum's exhibition of these events." |
