German loss February 9, 1945.....Ar 96.
 

Good evening,

This time I am (again) in serious trouble and hope for some information if it is possible.

The matter concerns a german loss on the above date.
On this date an Ar 96 was shot down by a Mustang, flown by P/O Stanley Farmiloe.

It went down in at Treuchtlingen some 20 miles NNW of Munich.

I have some of Farmiloes items and would like to build a model of his Mustang as well as the Ar 96.
Is anything known about this loss, I THINK maybe a school unit??
I have my information from the combat report.

To be complete, 234 Sqn pilots claimed three Ar 96s shot down (according to the book Fighter Command War Diaries, so I have not the claimant names), while only two are listed in the German loss lists available (same info as Matti above).

Only 30 % overclaming , they are improving with war ending :D,

A third Ar 96, has possibly crashed that day near Treuchtlingen

But I couldnt assert from where is coming the data...
