The A-16 were trainers rebuild from the Ju88P, still retaining the big fairing under the fuselage.

I found one, 550888, given 2 times in aug.44, in Wesendorf, but I Wonder if not a mistake for the A-17, known in that range of Wn ...was there any BFS at that time ??

Wesendorf was the home of BFS6 later FFS(B)36 during 1943/44.

So could be a real A-16, but as the A-17 where build in spring 1944, gap is narrow to its "Umbau" as an A-16 .. KG26 was connected to northern Germany, Blankensee ...Wesendorf ??
