ADD VVS loss at night 10-11 June 1943
 

Hi Guys,

At night 10-11 June 1943 Soviet ADD VVS lost 19 bombers. Somebody know what units NBAP?

VVS DD, 6 GvAD DD, 6 GvAP DD had IL-4 loss(es) this night for sure. (eg. Guard-Lt. Grigorii Ivanovich Didenko failed to return with his IL-4.) On this (or the nearby) night(s) 6th bomber regiment lost the following IL-4s:

IL-4, S/N: 10914, Туманский М-88Б engines: 887115, 887232
IL-4, S/N: 5023903, Туманский М-88Б engines: 886281, 886238
IL-4, S/N: 5113904, Туманский М-88Б engines: 887462, 887403


(Obviously VVS DD had other losses as well, but that time period is out of my focus/research.) Hope this helps a bit.

Sorry guys, just some correction: The 6 GvAP DD lost IL-4 on the specified night indeed, but the previously mentioned IL-4 serials CAME IN the regiment by June 8, 1943, they were NOT lost (going out) from their inventory. Chances are some of these new planes were lost on the night of June 10/11, 1943 since the regiment had plane loss(es) indeed, but the lost serials are still unknown.
