Spitfire V ID

In a recent photo batch purchase were shots of a shot down RAF Spitfire V coded QJ-O. Only partial serial R???? is visible.

Any ideas as to the identity and circumstances of its shoot down? Landed mostly in tact. Markings on port fuselage side state East India Squadron and 4 victory markings.

Thanks for any insight you can offer...

East India Squadron and Identity letters QJ lead to 92 Sq.

Upon closer examination, a greater portion of serial is visible. I can see R6, so this likely the Spitfire of Sergeant Hugh Bowen-Morris.

Any idea who shot him down?

Thanks for everyone's replies so far...
