Seeking photo of Fw Karl BRANDL FF, ZG-1; ZG-26; ZG-76
 

Hello - I'm seeking a pic of Bf-110 pilot Karl BRANDL who served in Russia with ZG-1 and later ZG-26 in 1942/43. He earned an Honor Goblet as a Gefreiter on 2 Feb 1942 and a German Cross in Gold on 1 April 1943. He was shot down over Germany by P-51s on 16 March 1944 in a 6./ZG-76 Bf-110 G2 - 410100 with BF Uffz Heinz Gunther and was severely wounded. After this date, he falls off the radar. Looking for any additional info on him especially a photo and what happened to him after 16.03.44. Thanks for looking. Bob

Unfortunately Bob passed away this year on the 8th of June.
