Found this pic in an auction just this week and courious which unit Josef Rohde served and also couse of death would be interesting.
I didnt won the auction and therefore this is just a copy of the Internet page of the auction.

Hi Andreas,

According to the career summaries Luftwaffe Officers Oblt. Rohde was wia on 5 july 1943. Hit by AA-fire and crash-landed near Senkova.
What happend to his BS? Was he unhurt and if not do you perhaps know his name?
