His grandfather was in a transport unit and had some flights with it.

D-ALYE is reported with WNr. 5458, made a test flight at Dessau on 06.11.1935 and became Luftwaffe NQ+AU later.

There are various sources which have the other way round:
NQ+AU 5458
NQ+AV 5480

What is the truth?
