Allied fighter losses 21 May 1944 near Ikast, Belgium

Can anyone provide details on an Allied fighter loss due to a collision with a Bf109 on this date? Unfortunately I have nothing more than that to offer as potential clues as to the identity.
TIA

Before I look any further a question, is Ikast not in the middle of Denmark?

F/L Anthony 'Tony' Golding Bird DFC and Bar had just joined No.19 Sqdn RAF and this was his first operational sortie with the Squadron. He had been posted to No.19 Sqdn with the intention that he would soon be promoted to the rank of Squadron Leader and take over command of the Squadron. He had flown two previous operational tours flying Mustang Mk.I and Mk.IA aircraft in the tactical reconnaissance role with Army Co-operation Command/2TAF Squadrons.
