1st Dec. 1943 - Who damaged a Ju 88 ?

Hello,

On 1st of December 1943, an "allied aircraft" (probably from RAF) damaged a Ju 88 D-1 at the point 14 W 486 (Luftwaffe grid). The Ju 88 could go back to its base, but a crewman was killed and an other was wounded

Which was this "allied aircraft" ?

Thank you in advance

Hi Pierre:

Chris Goss' excellent "Bloody Biscay" says this aircraft was damaged by Typhoons.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks to Michal, edNorth and Mark

Hello,

Thanks to you, guys, for your replies.

To edNorth : I have neither the code, nor the werknummer of the the Ju 88 ... and I would wish, too, to get them ! I'm specially interested with the Wekusta 2 which operated in West of France from July 1940 to August 1944 ... a very "french carreer" !

To Mark : I have, now, the Chris GOSS' "Bloody Biscay" book ... and I agree with you Mark : it's a remarkable book ! (congratulations and thanks to Chris ... if he reads this message !)

Au revoir

Pierre
