Hello ,

On March 3 1943 BF-110G-4 wnr 6317 D5+IT from 9/NJG3 crashed 1 lm south east off Osterlinde bei Braunschweig. Gress Albert Uffz BF and Dreissig Heinz Fw were killed. Who was the pilot off this aircraft , it seems he bailed out and was safe ?

The pilot was Uffz. Walter Röhring, who parachuted.

The correct name of the pilot was Uffz. Walter Rohlfing.

The correct date is 03.10.43 and name of Bf was Groß.

I am pretty sure it has been listed as such here on TOCH. Since this incident is not mentioned in any of Balss two books, I updated said publications with the faulty date and also the faulty name of the pilot (now corrected thanks to Gerhard).
