Hi SES,
came across the following:

During the period of 23. Sep 1944 to 25. Sep 1944 Stab Lw.Kdo.West will transfer from Mayen to Dehrn. The command portion completed the transfer on 24. Sep 1944. Accomodation provided in the Schloß and here in the farm and kitchen building and in operations buses.

This day's account was from an operations car.

At the end of that day's entries it states the Stab Lw.Kdo. West is transfering from Mayen to Dehrn.

Thank you very much. One mystery solved another one raised. I have heard of these "Operations Busses" a couple of times, have you or anybody else any idea of what they looked like?

the german text in its entiety is:

Der Stab des Lw.Kdos West verlegte in der Zeit vom 23. - 25.9. von Mayen nach Dehrn; die Führungsbateilung führte ihre Verlegung am 24.9. durch. Die Unterbringung erfolgte im Schloß, im Witschaftsgebäute und in Gefechtsomnibussen.
