Pauke ! Pauke ! & Horrido !
Hello,
What's the difference between "Pauke! Pauke!" and "Horrido!"? "Horrido" is definitely a term of hunting equivalent to "Tally-ho!" (lit. my hair stand on end). Wondering whether both battle cries mean the same, the first one being used by night fighters and the second by day fighters. Thanks in advance. Chris |

Hello;
In a conversation with Martin Drewes some years ago he told me that when he decided to attack a bomber he broadcast Pauke,Pauke in the radio to advise everybody his intention. Eduardo. |
