Combat pilots - Double and Triple Heroes of the Soviet Union
 

A little while ago I received a book I ordered from Viktor Kulikov (in Moscow), Combat pilots - Double and Triple Heroes of the Soviet Union (Boevye Letchiki -- Dvazhdy I Trizhdy Geroi Sovetskogo Souza). It is in Russian. A4 size, 384 pages printed on good quality paper (good photo reproduction). There are 73 entries of about five pages each, covering all the aviation recipients with two or three HSU. Thus fighter, bomber, attack pilots. For each recipient there is a table giving the dates of promotion, dates of awards (HSU awards are in the text) and victory claims by type flown with date and type, but no times or locations. Numerous photos of each recipient, and color side views of the aircraft they flew.

The authors are Andrey Simonov and Nikolay Bodrikhin. Publisher is Muzey Tekhniki. ISBN is 978-5-9909605-1-0. Published in 2017.
