Go 244

An Go 244, made a crash in France on 9.Aug.42, most probably Wn 767, place of crash is given as "Borceoin", anybody hv an idea of the real name or area where he crashed ??

Hello Rémi,

in August 1942 the KGr zbV 106 was stationed near Kirowograd between Kiew and Odessa in Russia.
The Go 244 WNr. 6267 was lost on August 9, 1942 because of engine trouble near Borcecin (spelling in the Gen.Qu. loss report from September 10, 1942).
