Swordfish ditched Malta 22 April 1943

Hi guys

Not RAF, but ................!

A Swordfish ditched off Sliema, Malta on 22 April 1943. Pilot rescued.

Seeking serial number and identity of pilot. The wreck may have been discovered!

Hello Brian,
Have not yet checked details of squadron but have come up with HS365 that was with 835 then 819 Sqdn FAA HMS Archer"K" . Engine failure, ditched and sank, Cat Z 24-5-43.
Crew safe. Pilot S/Lt. S. Brilliant.
