Hi guys, have this blade in my collection, it belonged to a crash in France apparently, Montargis in le Loiret, out of the marking, could you please tell me more about it?, regards, Juan

Hi Juan,

there were many many Bf109 crashed around Montargis, particularly from JG2.

If you could have the date, and possibly precisions about the location, this would considerably help.

Hi Juan

This VDM propeller blade of a Bf109 version G is certainly not from a crash because the typical traces (deflections and strong scratches) are missing. The damages are safe from the storage in a garbage hole or similar ...
You should clean the nice piece a bit and preserve.

We have better blades than this from the 109s crashed locally. Seized engine would give you one good blade at least, especially when landing in snow.

Thanks, glad to hear that, the guy I bought it from in France told me that it was from a crash and that is confirmed
