Lt Albert von Schwerin 1./KG 26

I have the biographical details for this pilot who was awarded the RK at the end of July 1940. However, the precise reason why he was awarded the RK I cannot find out unless it was for sinking an anti-aircraft cruiser off Narvik in May 1940? Can anyone help?
