Uffz.Ernst Richter KG(J)54
 

Hi all

In the french magazine about the Me.262 ("avions hs n°45"),according to the author,Ernst Richter is credited with 7 "abschuss" in april 1945 and KG(J)54 with 39 "abschuss" in seven month

This is the first time I hear of this Uffz.
Someone knows more?

The above site registers Uffz. Richter's claims giving as its source "Me 262, Part 2 (Fleischer)".

As well there is an Ofw. Ernst Richter in the falkeeines.blogspot that says he:

"... flew some 60 sorties as Nowotny's wingman and signed some 130 of Nowotny's Abschussmeldungen!..."

However, another source says, "Schnorrer was replaced as Nowotny's wingman by Unteroffizier Ernst Richter. With Richter, Nowotny claimed his final two aerial victories on the Eastern Front on 15 November 1943 ..."

Also there is an "Obltn. Richter" from "E J G 2" as #18 on the JV 44 list of 27 April 1945 compiled by Hptm. Gutowski, the original of which can be seen on p. 41 of Brown etal., Messerschmitt Me 262 of KG & KG(J) Units.

Finally, from deZeng and Stankey:

"RICHTER, Ernst. (n.d.) with JV 44. 07.04.45 Oblt., I./KG (J) 54. Credited with 7 victories. [uncertain if he was an Oblt. by war's end]"
