ID of machine guns

If you are able to recognise these machine gun types (cannon?), called MG1 and MG 2 here, please let me know what they are.

Re: ID of machine guns
The first appears to be a Japanese machine gun.

Re: ID of machine guns
Thanks for your answer, but that would seem unlikely. Both guns were mounted on Ju 52/3ms in Colombia. I would expect them to be either German, American or maybe Danish (Madsen), but I know too little about armament to be able to identify them.

Madsen light machine gun ( here without magazine) or perhaps ZB vz. 26 Czechoslovak light machine gun

Found this photo on the net while searching for references to Swiss aircraft mounted mg or cannons. The end fittings and the ring-mounting look similar to the device on MG1. Not sure about the scale on the MG1 photo. ...geoff Ref: Tony Williams & Emmanuel Gustin Cannon Pioneers web-page - Oerlikon L cannon on flexible mount. |
