16/5/40 - Wellington, RAF Dyce
Looking for the first names of RAF Flt Sgt R Clark, (Observer), RAAF FO J.D.Heath, (SE Operator) , RAF Flt Sgt C. J. Borner, (WT Operator) and RAF WO W. Teague, (Str/AG) Who were in a crash
On Wednesday the 16th of May 1945 at 1940 hours, an aircraft collided into a goods wagon on the Aberdeen to Inverness railway line. Flight Sergeant Edward Wood of the RAFVR, and Flight Lieutenant Curtis Warren Wheelock of the Royal Australian Air Force were killed. |

use the Australian Nominal Roll to get Heaths full name

and since you have the surname and serial number of the RAF men, you can find their full names in the AIR78 indexes

Got James Dalton Heath
Can anybody help with RAF names, I don't have access to AIR78. Also note I got date wrong 16/5/45 it was not 1940 (that was the time) It also appears the aircraft was based at RAF Fraserburgh is an ASR role. 279 Squadron and was using RAF Dyce as an Exercise. |
