Information on Feldwebel Ernst Kleist - Stalingrad
 

Hello there,

I am looking for more information about him. He died on 08.12.1942 in Pitomnik, Stalingrad

Is there any possibility to find out on which plane he was? Or if on that day a plane went down?

KIA 8 December, 1942 after being shot down by Russian fighters at Pitomnik. Remaining crew (all KIA): Ogefr Werner Müller, wireless operator, Fw Ernst Kleist, mechanic and Uffz Gerhard Menert, gunner.

1st correction from 16 March 1943 d):
Besatzung Fw Schulte nicht tot, sondern vermißt.
Streiche: 4 Tote. Setze: 4 Vermißte.

2nd correction from 7 April 1943 t):
Besatzung Fw Schulte gefallen.
Streiche: 4 Vermißte. Setze: 4 Tote.
