Oblt. Wolfgang Pagel 1./KG40

Hi all,

I'm looking for information on Oblt. Pagel. He was one of the first officers with 1./KG40, joining the unit on the 1st of November 1939. He was killed in a traffic accident on the 22th of July 1940.

I would like to know more about his crew and the missions he flew. I just know that he flew missions to Norway and England in the first half of 1940.

I am afraid that I have nothing more on this officer other than what you have. Born 25 Feb 13 in Leipzig, EKM 62751/5. His function is not noted

Thank you for your reply!

I was hoping you had something on him about the missions he flew. Pagel was Flugzeugführer. I have his Wehrpass, most of his paperwork and photos. I do not have his Flugbuch and know nothing about his crew. He flew 19 missions with the FW200.
