Fate of Ofw. Rudolf Michaelis, Transport pilot

Hello!
Has anyone a loss entry about a transport pilot named Ofw. (or higher rank) RUDOLF MICHAELIS?
He was born on 10 Apr 1917 at Dessau, holder of the German Cross/Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, received 15 Mar 1943 as Oberfeldwebel and pilot in 3./KGr. zbV 500.

Probably of no help, but the Traces of war website has the date for the DKG award as 25/3/43
