Georg Kiefner
 

Hello

I recently completed the thumbnail biography of Oberleutnant Georg Kiefner (12 victories) who served as Staffelkapitän of 1./JG 26 from July 1944 to April 1945. However, there is one item of information that I have not been able to uncover - the date and location of birth of this individual. Not even the excellent Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries by deZeng and Stankey mention this. Would anyone here have something about this?

Hi Leo,

The Archivportal web site has the ability to access all of the names that appear in the Luftwaffenpersonalamt Pers 6 holdings at BA-MA. If you can get into it - and that's a BIG "if" because even native Germans have trouble with the system's complexity - and they have his name, it will appear together with his DOB and possibly his POB also.
