Fairey Battle in Luftwaffe Service?
Hi
In 1940 and 1941 the Germans captured a number of Fairey "Battle" planes in France, Belgium and Greece. On different pictures the planes are mostly heavy damaged or wrecked. My question is, did the Germans put any "Battle" in service with German markings for test or training purposes? I knew different pictures of captured "Gladiators", "Blenheims", "Hurricanes", "Dewoitines", "Moranes", "Blochs", "Potez" etc. repainted in German markings but none of a "Battle". Thanks for any information. Season greetings to all of you Harry |

Re: Fairey Battle in Luftwaffe Service?
As far as I can ascertain there was not a Battle listed/displayed at the Berlin Museum. Is there any evidence for this? Do you know what the sources are?
