Herbert Schramm

Hi guys

Does any of you have any information regarding the loss list information on the fighter flown by Leutnant Herbert Schramm (42 victories, RK-EL, killed in action 1 December 1943) of 8./JG 53 when he was shot down on 10 September 1941? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Horrido!

For whatever reason, this amchine does not appear in the Gen.Qu. loss reports. However, according to Prien and company, Schramm crashlanded at Ossijaki due to engine damage. Assessed at 30% damage. Machine was coded 'black 3 + |'. There are photos in the Prien books. There was also a starboard side photo on the Falcon site some time ago.

Hi Jim

Many thanks for taking the time to kindly respond to my question concerning Schramm. At least this way I have what information is available and I thank you for this. Too bad there is no werknummer for his Bf 109 F-2 but we have to go with what we have. Many thanks for your kind help once again!

Horrido!
