Uffz. Jacobi
Hi all.
On december 6, 1944 II./JG 51 claimed three B-24s. One of them was claimed by Uffz. Jacobi....however I searched JG 51 history book from Aders and co, and was not able to locate this pilot in victory lists... Was it some misspelling kind of typo error in the book? Can anyone write me full name and something more about this pilot? How many victories did he achieved and what was his fate? Thanks!! Peter |
Re: Uffz. Jacobi
The pilot/vic list changed depending upon which printing of the book you have.

Re: Uffz. Jacobi
Hi Peter
The right name is Uffz. Franz Jacobi. I have a photo of him posing with Staffel comrades and Staffelkapitän Lt. Elias Kühlein in Raab, Ungarn, 1945. He survived the war. |
Re: Uffz. Jacobi
