Uffz. Bernhard Wehr, + March 1945
 

Gentlemen,

recently I received a photo of a memorial plate in the area of the Remagen bridgehead.

The plate mentions Bernhard Wehr, "Uffz. und Flugzeugführer", killed on an unspecified day in March 1945.

The caption further states that this memorial plate was placed "...close to the crash site".

Is there any information about this guy available? There were only a few units operating in this area in March 1945 (f.e. JG 2, 53, NAGr. 1, NSGr. 1, 2, 20), but Wehr is not amongst the known losses.
