109's claimed dest/dam by 193Sq 29 june 44 , Conches
 

Hi All,
Anyone have any info on five 109's claimed shot down and five claimed damaged by 193Sq, The combat took place near Conches , 29 june 44, 11.45hrs.
Any info on unit codes, Wn, pilot , etc, most welcome.

Thanks for the reply ,
I take it that the 109's were all from 4.(F)/123 ? crashing at Merville, Env-Avranches, Marolles/Dreux?, Mareuil-sur-Ourcq, Marines, Etrepagny, Amiens , ( sorry but the page is not very clear to me ) .
A lot of recce a/c in the air at one time.
Anyone any info on the losses for 4.(F)/123, was it a unit move ?

According to my records, there were no combat losses suffered by 4/123 (which tended to operate in pairs) that day. However, according to Frappe's book, there were quite a number from various units at various locations so I too cannot understand was Daniel has sent
