Lt. Brundage and Lt. Morrill 359FG, 369FS

I am looking for information about two pilots of 369FS.
One of them, Lt. Lowell "one eye"Brundage is burried at Neupre Cemetary Belgium.
The other one, Lt. Myron C Morrill is burried somewhere else I guess.
The only information I have is from Little friends and Jack H Smith's books about the 359FG.
I met the friend of Lowell, they grew up together, he does have some letters of him recieved during the WWII, but does not have information about the crash-site.
Both pilots where last seen over Malchin Germany chasing 5 Fw190.
They where escorting B-24's on Mission #95 Politz.
Wanted information about involved German Units that May 29 1944.
Thank You very much,

Fredman

Lt. Morrill is also laid to rest in Ardennes American Cemetery in Plot C Row 18 grave 17. See attached photo from my last visit. Try posting your request on the Luftwaffe board at this web site where you should get an answer about the units involved.

Hi Fredman and others

May I ask a simple question - why was Lowell Brundage known as 'One-Eye' ?

Thanks in advance

Brian

Dear Brian,

I recieved information from next of kin of Lowell Brundage.
There is no information why he was called "One Eye" Brundage.
I am sorry.
I will try to collect all the pictures and information about this brave Pilot and put it on a website, so everybody who is interested can take a look. I did recieve permission from the next of kin for that.
It will do the same for his comrade Myron Clinton Morrill.
On this moment i try to investigate the crash site at Daugzin, Germany.

regards and a good health for 2007!

Fredman
