Balkan Air Force fighter, lost 11 Aug 1944 over Serbia

Unknown RAF/SAAF fighter, lost August 11, 1944 over Ibar river valley, South-West Serbia. Can anyone identify this aircraft and his pilot (pilots)?

Could it be a RAF Mustang? Usce is on the Idar River.

213 Sqn Mustang III FB335; shot down by Flak between Lucice and Usce at 1015 seen to bale out; Flg Off S. Chappell POW
