Engine plate firing order
 

I got this brass plate last week from a guy who claimed it was from an airplane enigine fished out of the northsea. He managed to get the plate of before the enige went to the scrapyard.
Can anybody identify it? From what kind of engine did it come from (Rolls Royce Merlin??)

A Rolls-Royce Merlin engine had that firing order and the same (or a very similar) data plate.

A Packard built Merlin has the same firing order information, but it is located on the main data plate and is in a different format. (Scroll down just past halfway on the link for a "clickable" image.)
