Ju 52 testbed for the Jumo 213
 

Gentlemen -

The book 'Junkers Ju 52' Model Fan Encyclopaedia no. 4 includes a line drawing of three different Ju 52s that were used a test beds for various aircraft engines. Included are drawings for the DB 600, DB 601 and Jumo 213 engines which were, in each case, mounted in the central engine position. I have photos of the Ju 52s with the DB 600 and DB 601 engine installation; however, I have not seen a photo of the Ju 52 with the Jumo 213 engine.

I would very much appreciate it if a Board member would post a photo of the Ju 52 with Jumo 213 engine or, as an alternative, Email a good quality scan of this aircraft to me at mikermurphy@aol.com.
