Luftwaffe Mustang Losses
 

In the latest Luftwaffe book I've bought "Luftwaffe Eagle" by Erich Sommer, a mention is made of LW Mustang losses:

"The Mustangs had a very bad habit of stalling and going out of control in tight combat turns near the ground. This was because of its laminar wing profile which was very good for high speed dives but very bad for low speed sharp turns. We lost both Mustangs in this way while having imaginary dogfights with Messerschmitts 109 at low altitude."

I've seen this mention before in the book "Battle Over the Third Reich" by werner Held:
'This was one of two captured Mustangs to crash during the first half of 1944. Not being familiar with the characteristics of the laminar flow wings, the pilots got into incipient spins with insufficient height to recover."

I'm familiar with the loss of P-51B Wn 825 T9+HK on December 10.1944 killing Oblt Leo Potjans I/JG-77 , but do not know of another Luftwaffe Mustang loss in 1944. In an 1970s interview Theo Rosarius mentioned the loss of a Typhoon and one Mustang in simulated training flights against German fighters because of pilot error. No mention of another Mustang loss.

Any ideas?
