9./JG 53 31 August 1941
 

I am looking for the name of a pilot in the 9./JG 53 who shot down a V-11 at around 11:20 (12:20 Moscow), as I am not at home to look in JFV 6/II. I have Goetz, Hippert, Stumpf but not the spelling of the last Narytsu (?).

lost were all 6 Il-2, which soared on this mission. On approach to target fighters cover (129 IAP) lost group Il-2, over target lost 1 Il-2 (anti-aircraft artillery-Goncharenko?) and on the retreat attacked by "three BF-109", which in turn knocked down each flight Il-2 (two were shot down and three were missing). Total lost five pilots: captain Mikhail Markovich Skrypnik, lieutenant Vasily Romanovich Goncharenko, junior lieutenants Nikolai Stepanovich Yakimenko, Vasily Evdokimovich Mamsikov and Fyodor Vladimirovich Tambovtsev.

Only the target for the IL-2 was 20 km west of Borok - this is the area of Morozha-Poluyanovo
A total of 215 SHAP flew five times a this day on a mission (this third).

2,5 hours later, Red Army soldier Semen Semenovich Abramov from his four-barreled machine gun shot down an enemy Bf-109 over the airfield of Adrianopol - the pilot jumped out, but resisted on the ground and was killed. This was "an officer who had 2 orders of the" Iron Cross ", by the name of Schmidt" - as written in the award document of the soldier.

Possibly Oblt Erich Schmidt, the Staffelkapitän of 9./JG 53. His Bf 109F-2 WNr 12633 "Yellow 6" was shot down by AA fire "in the Velikiye Luki area, near Dubno" according to German loss lists. Schmidt was last seen parachuting, and is missing ever since.

Abdrasul Bakhmanov commanded an it's antiaircraft point at 588 BAO.

I said it is possible because I have no idea where Adrianopol is, and has no time to check.
