Hello,

on 1 July 1943 the Messerschmitt AG Augsburg had edited the "Übersichtsliste der Änderungs-Anweisungen Bf 109". According to this document the WNF built Bf 109 WNr. 14767 was a G-2 series aircraft.

Who knows about the cause of Crash and are there photos available of the aircraft and maybe the Pilot. Any Information about this unit. Nothing much in the Internet.

Thanks a lot.

In this WNr range there are several Bf109G which ought to be G-2s, but are listed as G-4s:
14756, 14757, 14758, 14759, 14760, 14761, 14762, 14763, 14764, 14767, 14768, 14773, 14775

Seems as if in spring '43 WNF had already shifted to Bf109G-4 standard
