Aufkl.Gr.122 loss 19th March 1944?
 

Dear all,

I have tried, but my books about the War in the Mediterranean are few, so I did not found anything related to a possible loss from Aufkl.Gr.122 on 19th March 1944.

Two airmen were buried at Perugia 2 days later, but informed killed on the 19th: Unteroffizier Walter Schmidberger (born 21-03-1922) und Beobachter, Uffz. Georg Beck.

Were they killed by Partisans? Were they killed by bombing action (USAAF)? Was there a flying accident?
