Forced Landing by Hs129 of 10.(Pz.)/SG 9 on 13th March 1944

I would be very grateful if anyone could provide details relating to the forced landing of a Henschel Hs 129 of 10.(Pz.)/SG 9 on 13th March 1944. I think the Werke Nr ends 1714 and the aircraft letter was 'D'. The Flugbuch I am looking at places the time at 16:00 but the location is hard to read. The aircraft was based at Proskurov and was damaged by return fire after attacking T34 tanks and infantry. I assume the pilot was unhurt as he was back in action the following day.

Any help will be very welcome.

Can you scan the entry? If not, can you spell out the entry as best you can?

Hi Milan

Thank you for this.

I have the loss list in Martin Pegg's great book on the Hs 129, which lists Fromm's crash on 14th March but that list does not include the incident I am seeking on 13th March. The pilot I am researching is Oberfeldwebel Franz Birnbaum and it his Flugbuch that mentions the incident on 13th March 1944.

The usual problem for 1944-pilot uninjured, hard to find details of the aircraft

Hi Chris

I knew this one might not be recorded anywhere but it never ceases to amaze me how much information you and the other experts here can uncover - always worth asking the question just in case.
