Nachtjaeger Camo 1943
 

Hi there,

what was the typical camouflage of the GAF nightfighters in the early Liechtenstein period, appr. fall 1942 to fall 1943? I'm particularly interested in Ju-88 Cs.
Was the overall-lightgrey with dark mottled overspray on top-sides from 1944 already in place or still the overall black from 1942?

... the Germans realized in Summer 1942 that black is not a good night camo. They started applying bright undersides in fall that year.
