RNZAF claims against a/c on ground
 

Hi,

Here comes my first post.

RNZAF:s air-to-air claims in the Pacific has been well covered in the book Air-To-Air by Chris Rudge but did any pilot or crew-member in the RNZAF in the Pacific make any claims for aircraft destroyed or damaged on the ground?

If I remember correctly, according to the Osprey book about Corsair aces, the RNZAF only claimed ground kills (for Corsairs that is). Sorry I don't have much more info on the subject... :)

Can you remember if it was mentioned that the ground kills were against aircraft? In all books I have read including the Official History there are only claims for barges, trucks and even tanks but nothing mentioned about aircraft.
